Tim - Former Lead Guitar (2015 - 2021)
Our original lead guitar player Tim tragically and suddenly passed away on December 15th 2022. Peter and Tim were childhood friends and had played in bands together for over 40 years. In Mind the Gap we had six amazing years playing with Tim. He left to go and join his childhood sweetheart in Georgia. But a band is like a gang of brothers, and you never really leave. We always remained friends and Tim last performed with us at Club London in Stamford just four weeks before passing away.
We love him and will never forget him. Here’s a tribute to all of the great memories and music we made together. RIP Tim.
Occasionally, we are also lucky enough to be joined by the awesome Murder Dolls - Rachel and Kristen on backing vocals - but when and if they appear is always a mysterious surprise…
Mind the Gap are a group of guys based in New Canaan, Connecticut who came together through a shared love of classic rock and roll. They have been playing together since 2015, but are not your standard covers band who run through a predictable set of songs. They turn every performance into a party and are guaranteed to blow the roof off and get the place rocking. Check out the “Rockumentary” below to see what makes us different:
